Arendarhonon Territory:
North side of the St. Lawrence River between Montreal and Lake
        Ontario.

        Fleeing their homeland,
the Arendarhonon arrived in Huronia and joined the Huron Confederation
in 1590. Only 60 years later, Huronia itself was conquered by
the Iroquois Confederation. Consequently, the Arendarhonon went
        to live amongst the Onondaga.

        COMMENT
        When
Jacque Cartier visited Hochelaga in 1534, the Arendarhonon were
upstream on location in their home territory. However by the
time the next explorer, Samuel Champlain, actually visited their
territory in 1609, they were gone. |
